siggys? *can they be added*

I know this has been touched upon before...but has this been changed yet?

I think Nicole has to do it or add another administrator to do it...she's on facebook all the time but I've never seen her on here...as far as I know she hasn't made anyone an administrator yet?

Only Nicole so far. I had hoped when I became a mod/part of the administrator group that I would be able to do some of these things, but nope.

Why hasn't Nicole made anyone else an admin?

I've talked with Nicole a few times on FB and she has said she would make me and Lisa, and i'm sure carolyn administrators but she has not done it yet.

If you guys want to PM her on FB maybe we can bug her till she logs on here and just does it. I also emailed her exactly how to give administrative rights. Nicole hasn't logged on here since June 19th.

I told her I would stop repeatedly bugging her if she would just do it but :dunno: I feel bad bothering her.

Yes, Bryce's mommy Nicole Chambers. He's sooo cute. Thanks and yes, she is the founder of this board and has all rights.

I think she was being nice and created it but didn't know that entailed managing it. :dunno:

We could always start new somewhere else... maybe it would be worth losing the history if she's never going to actually take care of making anyone else an admin and never log in again.

I'm not ready to give up yet.....lets give it a little more time. I'll do more research and see if she can not only transfer admin rights but even founder rights.

All she'd have to do to transfer founder rights would be change her email address to someone else's in her profile, if there isn't a one-button fix for that.

Lisa and I talked about creating a new board if Nicole doesn't transfer the admin abilities. I know of a board host that could be completely private, and we'd be able to make it invite only

The only way I can find to have Nicole give "founder" status to one of us is for her to give me (or whomever wants to take it over) her login name/password and then we use that one. I'd lose ToriBear5 but would change her email to mine and then if she still wants to be a part of it have her create a new login as a regular member.

If we want to just be admins under her, we can do that but she'll need to take those steps.

i sent 2 emails today but I know Nicole is taking classes and Bryce just got his shots today. She's a busy lady!

i hate to admit it but ive nearly lost my mind completly and sometimes i need need help remembering names and ages and all that comes in a siggy. and the worst part is i cant even remember cookies age in weeks without her ticker

i need siggys! and i really think we need a set up like the feb boards. a section for everything not just one big section like our old ddc.

oh and like rachel said INVITE ONLY! i want a private place

I agree. I say if we can't get this board where we want it in the next week, we'll create a a newer, and more private one. I'm not sure if you can specifically make a board completely private but we can look into it.

I also like the way Feb is laid out so here's hoping we can improve things.

There is a public section. People will make a username, post who they are there and then they will be approved into the private section. So it's essentially "invite only"

I've been on yuku for 9 years now, and I really like it. They have a chatroom feature. So we can get on at certain times and have chats!
