need help w/ new board please!!!

So, I registered without a problem, but then I went to the place where you're supposed to post, and I don't see any place to add a new thread...just replies. Any suggestions from our fearless mods?

The new topic button is to the right on the top.. or just reply to someones post! I can't add you to the members list until you post

I don't see a new topic button and when I tried to reply to Lovebug's topic it wouldn't let me!!! I know I'm signed in because on the top left it says Hi Emmy!
