Wish me luck..Update, woohoo!

At 7:00 I fed Jacob; at 7:40 we had finished reading 3 stories (Green Eggs & Ham, I Can Read with My Eyes Shut, and Goodnight Moon) and he is now in bed...here's hoping he can settle himself down to sleep. He's making some noise but not crying, so fingers crossed.

ETA: He fell asleep at 7:55 on his own, without crying. It's 8:15...so far so good. We'll see how long he stays asleep!

Update: I don't know if it's a fluke or if it's because of the shots or if I really have just been putting him to bed too late for him to be able to sleep well but he only woke up twice to eat and he slept from 7:50pm-7:45am!!!! And he didn't really fuss at all going down. He woke up around 10:50 but I gave him his pacifier and he fell back asleep until almost 2 and then woke up again at 5 so I fed him both times. I'm interested to see how tonight goes!

Awesome! I'm so jealous! Maxie's sleep has been seriously screwed up the past few days - she is sleeping only 45-60 min at a time, then only staying awake for the same amount.

Woo-hoo!!! I am jealous!! I don't know what is going on with my child's sleep...or lack there of lately....

That is fantastic! We have both our girls in bed by 7:30. Violet still cries a bit although last night she didn't, hmmmm. When Hazel was this age she went to bed at 5:30pm and woke up at 6am. I was soooooo spoiled with her.

Emily good grief!! 5:30?!?! Wow! I can't even imagine that! Once Ethan fell asleep at 7:00 and slept till 8 (although he woke up several times during the night) and I thought that was crazy! I'm glad both your girls are good sleepers!

Amanda I commented on my fb status, but we are reading Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child and No Cry Sleep Solution. They have some good information and we are taking the idea's we like from both books and combining them. Oh and the No Cry Sleep Solution is bed-share friendly
